Situated within the expanding peri-urban residential node of Utawala, this contemporary multi-level villa delivers a sophisticated family home optimized for a suburban footprint. The architectural layout integrates high-ceiling family lounges, an open-concept kitchen framework, and private en-suite bedrooms that open up to private terrace views. To mitigate the localized expansive black cotton clay soils typical of the Embakasi region, the structural design employs a specialized engineered foundation system. The building envelope utilizes deep solar-shading screens to regulate internal temperatures and incorporates large glazed apertures for natural daylighting.

To withstand localized expansive clay soils typical of the area, the structural design employs an engineered substructure framework paired with durable local stone masonry, integrated rainwater-harvesting systems, and private borehole infrastructure.
